Hello! I’m a writer, editor and author from Singapore. My work runs the gamut from journalism and editing to copywriting and content marketing.

My articles have appeared in regional and international news sites like Nikkei Asian Review, Southeast Asia Globe and Mekong Review. I have also written for local news sites Yahoo! News and The Middle Ground. I first got into journalism through freelance work and cut my teeth at Six-Six News in 2015.

While working at the editorial and design consultancy Tuber between 2019 and 2021, I advised and worked with clients such as the Public Service Division, the Centre for Liveable Studies, the Family Justice Courts, JTC and the Ministry of Social and Family Development. My work involved copywriting and copyediting everything from magazines and brochures to blogs and newsletters.

One of the pivotal experiences for me as a writer was working on my book The Naysayer’s Book Club. I got to interview influential personalities on the future of Singapore, broaden my thinking on policy matters and improve my range as a writer. The book was named the Book of the Year by the Singapore Book Awards in 2019.

I enjoy experimenting with different media and also have experience in game design. I am part of Playlogue Creations, the company that created the migratory bird-themed board game Fly-A-Way. I helped to market the game on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter and am currently running Level Up, a newsletter on game design, gamification and game communities.
